I began worshiping here at Christ The King in 2016, and was blessed to join the pastoral staff a few years later – first as Assistant Pastor in 2019, and then as Pastor in 2022. I’m an ordained Teaching Elder in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and I have degrees from Duke Divinity School (M.Div.) and Pepperdine University (B.A.). My wife Jessie and I have been married since 2008. We have one son, Owen, and one pooch, Penny. We love to listen to music, watch nerdy documentaries, and take in some live theater every now and then.

I first came to visit Christ the King in 2023 and immediately knew that I wanted to be a part of what God is doing within the Durham area. I am an ordained pastor through the Evangelical Church Alliance and have degrees from both Liberty University (M.Div.) and Southeastern (B.A). As the Director of Student Ministry & Outreach I am looking forward to working with both students & those who are seeking to know Jesus! My wife Anna and I have been married since 2015 and enjoy hiking, running and spending time together over a cup of coffee.

My family has been members of Christ the King since before I was born. As I grew in age and my relationship with Christ, I was led to volunteer with the nursery and elementary school aged children as well as with the Youth Group. Because of these experiences I attended NC State University and graduated in 2021 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a concentration in S.T.E.M education. I taught in public schools for 2 years and was led to redirect my focus toward Christ-centered and Christ-loving education. I have a wonderful husband named Joseph, a sweet baby girl named Piper, as well as two cats (Oogie and Nala) and a bearded dragon (Apollo). We love movies, legos, and spending quality time laughing with friends. I am always up for any type of art project, cooking, or baking! I am so excited to see what God has in store!
