We hope that all of our members will be able to find a Small Group at Christ the King where they can feel at home. Click here to find out more about our Small Groups below.
In addition to our small groups, we also have a Men's Ministry group, a Women's Ministry group, Sunday Worship Teams, and seasonal opportunities for service. We also offer many opportunities for outreach and evangelism.
Our CTK Men's Ministry hosts two annual retreats for reflection, fellowship, and fun: a Fall Retreat in the mountains, and a Spring Retreat on Lake Gaston. We also host CTK men's small group weekly studies. We have been involved in CTK work projects, mowing teams, recreation for Summer Faith Adventure, and have fielded different team sports. Want to get involved?
The Women's Ministry sponsors the fall Christmas Bazaar & Craft Fair to raise money for local and other ministries, hosts a women's Christmas tea, and coordinates a yearly Spring retreat, as well as other activities designed to nourish women's spiritual lives and help their friendships grow. Want to get involved?
We have two Sunday Worship Teams who take turns providing the music for our worship services. Currently, our Worship Teams practice on Wednesday evenings. Do you play an instrument, or love to sing? Get in touch to join the worship team!
Our dedicated Grounds Crew takes care of mowing and weeding the grounds. Many hands make light work! Each team of our Grounds Crews works about once a month. Interested in keeping our church grounds beautiful?
We have several Lovefeasts per year, and always need some men & women to serve the coffee and foods for each occasion.
One of the many ways the church is described in the Bible, is that we are the "family of God," brought into relationship with the Father and with each other by Jesus Christ's saving work.
We are intentional about inviting every person at Christ the King to be part of a Small Group. These small group families study the Bible together, pray for, help and support one another, have all kinds of fun together (from bowling to camping to special events and movies), and provide places to grow in faith and in "family" relationships.
The early Christian Church, during the period of its greatest vitality, was made of many small groups, studying, learning, growing and reaching out with the good news about Christ. Come and be part of that kind of vitality here at Christ the King!
