Children at Christ the King are cherished!
We accept God's precious young ones as gifts to be loved and treasured. In our children's ministry, we seek to follow the example of Jesus in our teaching and in our relationships with the children. Jesus gathered the little ones into his arms and put everything aside to hold and love them.
“The Gospel Project” is our new curriculum that shows how the Bible is one big story pointing us to Jesus! Also, we’ve implemented an electronic child check-in system that will ensure your child’s safety while in our care!
We offer a number of opportunities to help our children experience the love of Jesus and the love of his people:
Nursery care is offered during both the worship service and the Christian Education hour on Sunday mornings, available for both infants and toddlers.
A chance for our young children to learn from God’s Word and to grow in faith with age-appropriate curriculum, loving teachers and a healthy dose of fun! Available during the school year from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
A worship experience specifically designed for 3- to 5-year-olds during our morning worship service. It's time for some late-breaking, action packed, puppet-staffed, Good News during our weekly King's Kids worship! Come and learn more about Jesus and his disciples.
There are many special opportunities throughout the year for children to enjoy each other, make new friends, and celebrate their faith. A few of our main events are: a Christmas or Easter musical/play, mission projects, "Walk To Bethlehem," Easter egg hunts, and a Summer Faith Adventure (AKA Vacation Bible School)!
Each of these ministries is designed to be safe, fun and a place where children can grow to understand how important they are to the Lord and find their own relationship with God through Jesus Christ. All teachers are required to submit to a background check and Safe Sanctuaries training.
